Triple Play Blog Hop: Week 3-Beauty Bloom

It's Thursday, and that means it's time for the Triple Play Blog Hop! This week, we are all using a flower die called Beauty Bloom. I love this die (it's by Brenda Pinnick) because it has four shapes on the one die.

Here is my project...

I created this layout of my oldest daughter. Sadly, she is growing up way too fast and is already 17 years old. I took this photo of her last summer and it's one of my favorites. I used 12x12 chipboard as my background (for durability, since this layout will go in our booth for conventions.)

I then stamped the background with chalk ink for a soft look. Here you can see the background better. And the fun ribbon! ;)

I used my Big Shot Pro to cut the flowers and added them to the layout after inking and stamping them. I love the little dots from the backgrounds2build stamp set.
One of my favorite things about stamps is the ability to create my own patterned paper. :)

Products Used:
Sizzix Beauty Bloom Die by Brenda Pinnick
The Stamps of Life Stamps (of course!) backgrounds2build, words4family, quick2border
Prismatics Cardstock from DiscountCardstock.com
Ribbon, ink

Make sure you check out the other designer projects on the Blog Hop! Click "Next" on the Blog Blinkie on the right. Have fun!

Hugs!

What a lovely layout to showcase a beautiful photo! I love the elegance and softness of this. Your stamps really shine, subtley. (if that makes sense)

Beautiful layout... love the purple mixed with the kraft. :-)

I know what you mean about them growing up way to fast, my oldest will be 17 in March.
