Happiness is Cocoa shaker card

Hello Friends! We have a really fun card to share by design team member Katherine today! Check out her beautiful shaker card!

I had so much fun participating in the Coffee Loving Card Makers and The Stamps of Life blog hop that I was inspired to make another card!

This shaker card began by stamping marshmallows in Licorice all over Gingersnap and coloring with white pencil.

I glued down a few sequins so there would be some visible when the contents settle at the bottom of the card.

I used the Stitched Rectangles to create a frame from patterned paper:

I had a lot of fun with this part - making a mix of sequins, beads and snowflakes:

I assembled the shaker by adding foam strips on the Gingersnap card stock. The sequin mix went in next.

Do you see the foam on the left side? I added this to keep the shaker mix from falling to that side. I put an acetate rectangle on the foam and then the patterned paper frame.

I knew I was going to have a mug on the left side so that is why I didn't want sequin mix to fall over there. The foam allows it to float around the mug. I cut a snowflake from Winter wishes and a spoon  on Blue Jay and stamped Cocoa with Strawberry ink.

I cut two more stitched rectangles from Powdered Sugar and Strawberryand stamped Happiness is with Green Apple.

I added the finished front to Green Apple and an A2 Strawberry card base.

Happy Stamping!
