I'm with you Stephanie on the diet drinks. My favorites are Coke Zero and Diet Dr. Pepper. I have to have them everyday. I've never been much on the mints but I do love hard cinnamon candies and have been known to go through a whole bag by myself in a week. Hope you're having a great trip!

I love love love peanut butter on my pancakes/waffles with my syrup! Taste like reese peanutbutter cups...oh yum!

My addictions are Coke Zero and chips or pretzels, but for something odd...this is NOT an addiction, but really is something I like, and at least some of my kids honestly like it too (don't make horrible faces until you try it!): green peas with cheese (Velveeta)- seriously, try it!: canned green peas (LeSeur are the best)-drain out most of the water, throw in a couple of chunks of Velveeta and heat it until the cheese melts...yum!

I love my Diet Dr. Pepper the most. But, an odd thing I like, mostly I eat it at Thanksgiving is a combination of foods. I like cole slaw and cranberry sauce mixed together. Yum. Thanks for the fun video. jeannett_mcgee@comcast.net

Trident Splash Peppermint swirl gum. You can't find it just anywhere so when I find it, I buy it by the boxful, like 20 packs! Also I love Starbucks Mocha Frappacinos and have to have a couple a day!

You can keep brads in your empty tic tac boxes

Other than my obsession with scrapbooking and stamping. I guess the weirdest thing I like to eat is BBQ sauce on potato salad. Call it a southern thing! Hope you are having a great time in South Africa.

I love dunking mcdonalds french fries in vanilla milk shakes. Yum! My friends/family say i'm strange because I drink no soda and no coffee.

Diana aka *Doodles* said...

As for drinks, I have to have my Lemon Berry Slush from Sonic, and for something strange I eat...well, not sure if it's strange, but I love Ranch on my fried fish instead of tartar sauce. I can't eat fried fish without ranch to dip it in, yum!!!

Hope you're enjoying your trip!

Hugs,
Diana

I used to store my little beads/embellishments in those tic/tac containers, but your container looks a lot bigger than mine. Are those JUMBO size? But one of my odd/obsession food is 'red vinegar', when i go to a restaurant to eat and it requires me to dip vinegar, I will used up 1/2 to 3/4 of their bottle. LOL! Sometimes I will also sip on vinegar too. And it's only the red vinegar, not the white one. But anyways, hope you have a wonderful fun trip.

I love mustard on my sloppy joes! Not sure if that odd but I like it. I also like bbq sauce on my coleslaw!!

I must admit..I never thought about velveeta and green beans :) But, Rocky Mountain oysters~~uhuh..nope not gonna try that! :) heh heh

YOU ROCK!! There are DEFINITELY worse addictions than white Tic Tacs!!! I can find about five empty boxes of Altoids in my car pocket. I, too, am looking for some way to alter them....hmmmm.
Diet Dr Pepper is one of my addictions.

Michelle said...

Ranch, Ranch and more Ranch.. you name it I put Ranch on it! Sandwiches, pizza, pretzels, I use it as a dip for chips! Safe travels my friend and thanks for sharing ;0)

So much fun to see that I am not alone with my own little idiosyncrasy. I love, love, love breakfast cereals... Capt'n Crunch, Alpha Bits, Corn Pops, Froot Loops.... yummy. That's why I don't buy them because if I did I would just eat the whole box until it was gone; my waistline doesn't need breakfast cereal! LOL

Marla said...

Stephanie you always make me laugh. I love white Altoid mints and I too love peanut butter on my pancakes. Thanks for a good laugh!!

Angie said...

You're so funny. Tic tacs arent too bad. Plus you end up with minty fresh breath. I love ranch dressing. If that dressing is close by, I'll find something to dip it in!

JoAnn said...

My entire family loves sugar on cottage cheese, peanut butter on pancakes and ranch dressing on french fries. Yummo

I am addicted to watching your video's every night. You have a sparkle that makes me smile. Your videos are entertaining, fun and always leaves such a good feeling. I always wait for the new ones to come out!!

I hope your enjoying South Africa Stephanie-I use the bigger Tic Tac containers to store sequins and small embellishments they are great because they stack easy and take up minimal space. A couple of my food/snacks are potato chips- the packet type not hot ones- any flavour with tomato sauce(ketchup),or peanut butter and honey (together) on toast - they are probably two of the more normal things- hubby likes cheese and jam(jelly) on toast or in sandwiches

Carol Hardie said...

OMG........you are a hoot Stephanie. I have two food addictions, one is Original Trident gum, always have to have it all day long and the other is Thin Crisp Triscuits. My family is looking for a 12 step program for me. My daughters have the oddest addiction of Kit Kat candy bars covered with the canned spray cheese. Now, that is gross even if they are my children. Thanks for the video...made me laugh out loud.

myownplace said...

odd things I eat-don't tell anyone-sugar on macaroni and cheese , and dill pickles w chocolate cake.

Villa said...

Stephanie! Your video is hilarious! If soda & Tic Tac's are your only sins, you're guaranteed a spot in heaven! I love Dill Pickle flavoured chips. I only get them as an occasional treat because I'd eat the whole bag in one sitting!Have a safe trip!!

oh, and Steph, look what i found on google! Most re-purposing ideas were for some kind of storage, but this is a cute idea for a tiny gift. And what if you used them as favors for a party or as wedding favors filled with candy (M&Ms?) in colors to co-ordinate with the bridal party?

I'll let you in on a secret. We're all obessive about something. I always say that we should start CAA Craft Addict Club. The problem we'd probably turn it into a big scrap fest, right? Love me love my craft addiction, that's what I say!

I love Nerds candy. I buy the big boxes like you can get at the movie theaters and I eat them all day long at work. I usually get from Walgreen's for a buck so that's a good deal! People at work tell me I'm such a nerd!! hahaha....so what's wrong with that?? lol

Smint and White Tic Tac (for real), not as much as you, but the Smint, yummmm. And that is the Smint with a new flavour. I believe it's eucalyptus.
But if this is our worst addiction, then so be it.

We have these all nature peanut better or cheese treats, and everytime I give one to the girls I eat one, could be up to 6-8 a day. I love them :-) Enjoy your trip, hope to see lots of pictures

My daily obsession is chewing Stride Winterblue gum. I chew it because than I don't think about what to eat!!! I absolutely LOVE to eat grahams dunked in milk!! I can eat a whole cellophane pack of them. So I have to limit myself by taking 3 out and putting the rest away!! YUMMO!!

Joyce said...

Loved the video!! All I could think of was how people around you in church can hear the 'crunch, crunch, crunch' of TicTacs!! You are so funny and down to Earth.
I have a similar habit with Mementos Cinnamon candies...they are soft and can be chewed! :)

I am addicted to mayonnaise and french fries! whenever we go out and there's fries with the meal I have to ask for a side of mayo, I can't eat them otherwise...sounds gross but it's delicious! LOL

I have to have plain M&M's and Hershey's Kisses in the house at ALL times. I don't eat them everyday, sometimes going a whole week, but knowing they are there is a comfort for me!

Now we know why you have so much energy....

My friends think it's odd that I have popcorn (with real butter and Himalayan Pink salt) and a chocolate martini for dinner at least once a week... I don't think that's odd at all...

My addiction is 'Gardetto's Special Request Roasted Garlic Rye Chips'. They are to die for. I have to limit myself to 2 bags a week. I could eat a bag a day easy. And my newest addition is my new puppie 'Winnie'. She is a mixed terrier rescue about 9 months old. We've had her for a little over 2 months. What a kick she is. Love your videos and especially your stamps.

Egadz Girl! :) I hope those are sugar free, cuz all that sugar may not be good for your pretty white teeth! :) I love Crystal Light To Go Packets......BUT I can only use one packet in 3, 20 ounce bottles of water. Yup, weird! But a box lasts me a long time!

I make my own sweet (german type) cooking chocolate and keep itin the fridge. I can make it as sweet or bitter as I want to. I got it years ago from a hersheys leaflet. 4 tablespoons cocoa, 4 2/3 tablespoons sugar and 2 2/3 tablespoons shortening. It only takes a small amount to fulfill the need of a great chocolate craving :)

blu_jean_girl said...

That cracks me up! Ok, my weird food obsession. When I was a kid/teenager my Mom canned tomatoes, one year in like mid January I decided I wanted tomatoes on toast. So I would toast a couple of pieces of wheat bread, plop on some home canned tomatoes and sprinkle on garlic salt...and that's what I ate for breakfast and lunch for like the ENTIRE winter. Until we ran out of canned tomatoes! lol :)

Cindi said...

I love frozen grapes!! if you haven't tried them yet, throw some in your freezer for a couple hours and try them
:)

I have to post my daughters. When she was little she wouldn't eat anything green. We finally got her to eat green beans by treating them like french fries and letting her dip them in ketchup. For me it is butter on saltine cracker's and ranch on anything not sweet.

Stepanie, you are so funny. Your video was great. I love smarties candy. They are tart and sweet all at the same time!!! I can't get enough of them.

One of my favorite odd things to eat ever since I can remember is white bread with real butter and brown sugar on it. Mmmm, mmmm! It always reminds me of my grandma Nellie, since she always made them for me when we would visit at lunch time! It also tastes good on saltine crackers, too.
Praying for your safe return :)

lanejoy1 said...

I love mayo. I put it on everything...corn on the cob, scrambled eggs, all sandwiches, etc. Then my second thing is crushed ice. I always and I mean always have a cup of crushed ice with me.

Kaye said...

Homemade applesauce on toast! My family thinks I'm nuts. Guess it started when my grandma would make homemade applesauce and we would have it warm on toast.

I like to have fruit (peaches, fruit cocktail, or--my favorite---mandarin oranges) with sour cream. Recently I started with plain greek yogurt and fruit and that's almost as good. :) I don't drink coffee or diet drinks at all. I do like soda but only have it when I go out to eat. But I HAVE to have ICED TEA every day. I have to make it myself, too--I don't like it too sweet (like Brisk in a can is way too sweet for me).

Mary said...

I love the chill exotic cherry tic tacs. Hope you have a wonderful time and a safe trip home.

I love Mrs Dash Extra spicy with almost everything. Good stuff. I always carry a bottle in my purse incase I am out to eat and the food needs some added spice. I also love your videos and watch them all the time, even more than once.

Stephanie, That is the cutest video...you are such a hoot. It has been so much fun to read everyone's strange addictions...I thought I was the only person who liked peanut butter on pancakes...try crunchy peanut butter on waffles. My latest addiction while I try to stop smoking is Gobstoppers Jaw Breakers...and I crunch them also. I am also addicted to iced tea made with two cups of Splenda per gallon of tea...really sweet. ANd who can resist a peanut butter, mayo and banana sandwich...yummy!!!! Have a great trip, Steph!!!

I love that you share all of your craziness with us!!

I don't know what my crazy thing to eat is. I think mine is not what I eat but how I eat it. I like to eat things in even numbers so like if I have cookies it has to be 2 or 4 (not 1 or 3 - that totally throws me off). Now, how is that for a crazy quirk?!?!?! ;)

When we grill out, I love putting baked beans on my potato chips.

I love tomato and mayo sandwiches!! Also a strange thing I eat that I learned from my grandmother is plain lettuce with mayo.
