Framelits+Halloween=One Incredible Banner!

Hello, My Friends!

When my friend, Gretchen Schmidt sent me this project, I fell in love.  The surprising thing?!?  There's no stamping!  {Gasp!}

Why did I fall in love?  Because she used my new Sizzix Framelits Dies exactly how I intended them to be used.  It was a thrill to see them used by someone else.  ;)

Directions: Use a Scallop Pennant die to cut 14 pieces out of black. Use various pieces of patterned paper and a Plain Pennant to cut 14 pieces. Make sure the Plain Pennant is slightly smaller than the Scallop Pennant. Glue pieces together. Add a hole to each upper corner of your pendants. Use the Butterfly Kisses font with black felt to create “Happy Halloween.” Glue a letter onto each pennant. Use embroidery floss to tie pennants together adding extra on the left and right sides to hang. Use the Spider and Spider Web Pop-Up Die to cut 5 spider webs and 7 spiders out of black cardstock. Glue the webs in various places behind the pennant making sure to glue down onto only one. Glue the spiders onto the front sides of the pennants in various places, again making sure to only glue down onto one pennant. By gluing the elements to only one pennant, you will ensure that the banner will move easily.
