It's Tutorial Tuesday!! Need a quick card that matches with ANY Stamps of Life stamp set?! Here's a SUPER CUTE tutorial by our fabulous Design Team member Jeanne!!!

Ribbon Background

Here is a fun way to make a textured background with your ribbon scraps.

Make your card back and attach strips of ribbon. I used a ATG gun to attach my ribbon.

Trim ribbon edges to fit your card.

Finish your card:

SO cute!! You can of course use ANY stamp set or to go with this card. The combinations are endless :)

Supplies:

Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon (7/8″ Black Gingham, White Corsage Ribbon, Black Double Ruffles, White Pleated Satin)

Stamps: The Stamps of Life (guitars2play)
Cardstock: DiscountCardstock.com (Classic Crest Solar White, Bazzill Dotted Swiss Blissful)
Inks: Clearsnap Premium Dye ink (Guava)

Everyone in my family has been sick with something in the last couple of weeks! I cannot believe I haven't caught anything. It must be all of the Diet Coke in my system.

Did You Forget Something?

Hello My Friends!!

I cannot belive it! I forgot it was one of our beloved employees' birthday last week. It was on the calendar and everything. I suppose with my travel schedule and everything else going on, she will forgive me. Donuts make everything better, right?

We have all forgotten someone's birthday at one time or another. Make up for it by making them an extra special card on their special day. Here is an idea that I thought would be absolutely perfect to recreate for just that occasion...This card was uploaded to the gallery by our design team member, Jeanne.

I'm home from NC!  What a BLAST!  I thought it would be awkward to travel on my birthday, but so many Club Members made it a special day!  Thanks to all of you for making my day a wonderful one!  :)

Guess What I Saw!

Hello, My Friends!

I'm sitting at my computer {supposed to be designing new dies for Sizzix!} and as usual, I got distracted and headed over to our gallery of eye candy. 

I fell in love with a few cards and I wanted to share them with you.  :)

This one is by Annie in WA.  She writes, "The gift was paper pieced and I stamped the bow twice on top. DP is from Recollections Signature Series and twine is from The Twinery"

I love the colors on this card!  I love how she used the birthday2celebrate stamp set to create the paper pieced present.  :)
 

This card is by Joy in TX.  She used quite a few stamp sets for this one!  I see mums2stamp, list2write and stamps4fancylabel.  She also used the Fancy Frame Framelits dies to cut out the sentiment. 

I love how she combined many stamp sets to create this card.  The nice thing about the stamps4fancylabel stamp set is it's great for mother's day, father's day, wedding, baptism, birthday, valentine's day and thanks!  Wowsers!  ;)

Easter Bunny Time!

It's almost Easter Bunny time!  Here's an adorable table idea by Design Team Member, Kim Howard.

(Inspired by Gingerbread Man card by Michelle Novak, p. 87 of March/April 2010 magazine Paper Crafts Magazine)

1. Stamp images on cardstock, color and cut.

2. Create stand for name cards by folding strip of paper in triangle.
